Program Summary

Up to $50,000 as a deferred loan with 1% interest compounded annually. NO MONTHLY PAYMENTS. Full amount + interest repaid when home is sold, refinanced, or ceases to be primary residence. Can be used for principal reduction, rate buydown (max $10K), down payment (50%), and/or closing costs. Can stack with State DPA for up to $70K combined! Max purchase price $500K.

How to Apply

  2. 2Get pre-qualification letter from a reputable lender.
  3. 3Execute a Real Estate Purchase Contract (REPC) for a Davis County home.
  4. 4Complete HUD-approved homebuyer education (USU Online Course recommended).
  5. 5Download the application packet (link below) and gather required documents.
  6. 6Apply through the Neighborly portal or submit directly to Davis County.
  7. 7Davis County performs visual inspection and environmental review.
  8. 8Processing takes approximately 25-30 days.
  9. 9Funds disbursed at closing.
