Program Summary

Homebuyer Equity Leverage Partnership (HELP) - $20,000 forgivable grant for Utah buyers. Available with Conventional, FHA, VA, or USDA loans. Fixed rate 15, 20, 25, or 30-year terms. Purchase or refinance. Owner-occupied 1-4 unit properties. First-time homebuyers only with household income ≤80% AMI. Minimum $500 borrower contribution required.

How to Apply

  1. 1Verify you're a first-time homebuyer (no ownership in past 3 years).
  2. 2Verify your HOUSEHOLD income is ≤80% AMI for your county.
  3. 3(All permanent occupants' income counts, not just borrowers!)
  4. 4Confirm you can contribute at least $500 of your own funds.
  5. 5Work with a participating lender who offers FHLB programs.

  7. 7Funds available first-come, first-served basis.
  8. 8Lender submits application to FHLB on your behalf.
  9. 9Receive $20,000 forgivable grant at closing!
