What This Program Offers

Own in Ogden is Ogden City's down payment assistance program providing 0% interest, deferred-payment loans to help buyers purchase a home in Ogden.

  • Loan amounts: $10,000 for general homebuyers, $15,000 for K-12 teachers/administrators in Ogden schools or Ogden City employees, $20,000 for sworn Ogden Police Officers & Firefighters.
  • Not just for first-time buyers!
  • Any home in Ogden is eligible, including new construction.
  • Max price: $430K (existing) or $467K (new).
  • Repaid only when you sell, refinance, or move out.
